Pharmaceutical & Medical Technology

Hugo Beck provides film packaging machines across the pharmaceutical and medical technology sectors, primarily for hermetically sealed packaging. For many applications, hygienic, 100% airtight packaging is essential in order to meet the strict regulations and specifications imposed, such as those in technical clean rooms.

E-Commerce & Logistics

We develop and produce film and paper packaging machines designed specifically for the requirements of the e-commerce and mail order sectors. Thanks to features such as the integration of labelling and printing units alongside controllers with connections to client-side ERP systems – everything is possible.

Wood & Long Parts

Hugo Beck provides high-performance, extremely flexible film packaging machines for wood and similar length goods, such as parquet or laminate, mouldings, wood or laminated wood, furniture parts or doors. Our packaging machines are ideal for similar length products, including skis and snowboards, spirit levels, rolled goods, steel pipes, and many more items.

Confectionery

Hugo Beck’s film packaging machines for flowpacks, bags and shrink packs ensure many confectionery goods can be packed efficiently, with the minimum use of resources, and all with a perfect finish. Examples include praline and chocolate boxes, biscuits, baked goods, chocolate, marzipan figures, and much more besides. Perfect product presentation at the point of sale is our strength.

Paper packaging with two sewn sides for e-commerce, mail order, logistics. Automatic adaptation to the varying product dimensions in length and width.

paper X hybrid/paper X

paper X hybrid machines wrap goods in paper and film. The paper X is our basic paper only packaging machine, without option to switch to film packaging. For e-commerce, automatic adaptation to the product's length is available.

servo X

Available in five performance ranges and numerous variants. These machines cover the broadest possible range of horizontal film packaging applications – with maximum modularity.

flowpack X

The flowpack X is designed to deliver 100% airtight film packaging, seamless traceability and reproducible results from the very first pack. Our flowpack X packs goods in film or paper.

2 sides sewn, top overlap glued

Various packaging techniques are applied for this paper packaging with two sewn sides and glued top overlap. This type of paper bag is produced with the paper e-com fit.

Flowpack with longitudinal seam above/below

Flowpacks with the characteristic fin seams appeal thanks to their 100% air-tightness and extraordinary stability which enables a sales-effective product presentation at the point of sale. Our flowpack machines flexibly process both film and paper, which must contain a minimum coating of some type, such as PE or cold glue, in order to be sealed.

Side seal

Side sealing machines with film waste rewinders pack products with a lateral cut seal. The lateral cut seal guarantees a high-quality packaging without remaining film on the product. Thanks to our patented tight packaging only as much film is used as is truly needed.

Overlap on top

With this flexible overlap sealing, products can be closed at the top, centre or side. This shrink-wrapping technology is in great demand especially for the packaging of mailing products such as magazines or catalogues.

Dispatch paper packaging for e.g. textile goods

Dispatch packaging or individual packaging with two sewn sides and glued top overlap. It can also be used as return packaging for various products, especially for textile goods. The suitable machine is the paper e-com fit. It adjusts automatically to different product dimensions and thus saves packaging material.

Paper packaging glued

Dispatch packaging for single products or bundles in stacks with two glued sides and glued top overlap. Different products such as multimedia articles, vouchers etc. are packed. The suitable machine is the paper X. It wraps products of different width and height, especially the length is adjusted.

Bandage in aluminium composite film

Whether aluminium composite films, Tyvek®, cellophane film, register printed films or film coated paper, everything is possible here as air-tight flowpack packaging with high barrier protection. Products such as face masks, various bandages, ovulation, drug and alcohol tests, wet wipes, pipette boxes, medical tubes, etc. are thus perfectly protected from sunlight and oxygen penetration.

Chocolate boxes

Chocolate box in extremely tight-fitting film with bottom overlap and ionisation. Produced with a Form Fill and Seal machine servo X. PO-film is used for sales packaging applications and PE-film for transport packaging. Printed films are also possible.

FLOWPACK X

THE MODULAR SOLUTION FOR PACKAGING IN PAPER

The box-motion flowpack X paper packaging machine is suitable for applications requiring various papers and other cellulose-based packaging materials with thermo-sealable or cold-sealable coatings.

It enables optimum processing of the most diverse papers, such as barrier paper, kraft/offset/parchment and other papers with PE, PLA or dispersion coatings. Reproducible results are guaranteed from the very first product packaging.

The flowpack X is available in two versions: with longitudinal sealing above or below. Both versions can be equipped on a modular and individual basis. Examples here are finger conveyor chains or infeed belts, thermal transfer printer, labelling machine and automatic roll changer for continuous unwind, i.e. non-stop operation.

Our flowpack machines are also available as hygienically designed or rotary version.
