HUGO BECK flowpack machines provide flexible solutions for airtight, stable and visually high-quality packaging. Depending on the version selected, our fully automatic machines are suitable for high-speed applications, airtight film packaging requirements and paper packaging. The machines feature either rotating or box motion transversal sealing units, with selection of a longitudinal seam either above or below. This allows a wide range of products to be packaged efficiently and reliably.

Each flowpack machine can be combined with a wide range of feed systems, such as finger conveyor chains or infeed belts, and can process a broad selection of packaging materials, from PP and aluminium laminated films through to Tyvek®. Coated paper can also be used for flowpack production. Flowpack packaging is not shrink-wrapped and offers stable fin seams, high seal integrity and an attractive product presentation. For sectors with special requirements, such as food, pharmaceutical and medical technology, HUGO BECK flowpack machines are also available as hygienically designed versions.

The flowpack R achieves very high speeds and offers an extremely compact design. The machines are suitable for the packaging of fruit, vegetables, sausage and meat products as well as cheese and dairy products. Frozen products, confectionery and bakery products or various household products etc. can also be packed quickly and safely.

The flowpack X is designed to deliver 100% airtight film packaging, seamless traceability and reproducible results from the very first pack. Our flowpack X packs goods in film or paper.

How to produce flowpacks of petri dishes in stacks of 5 or 10

Flowpack Machine for Paper Packaging

Our box-motion flowpack X packaging machine is suitable for heat and cold-sealable cellulose-/paper-based packaging materials. Thanks to continuous transversal sealing, a long dwell time and high sealing pressure is achieved enabling optimum processing of the most diverse coated, recyclable papers, such as barrier paper, kraft/offset/parchment and other papers with PE, PLA or dispersion coatings. The flowpack X packs goods in paper or film, by a simple changeover.

Packaging of FFP2 face masks in flowpack

Mouth-nose protection masks such as medical face masks or FFP2 masks with or without valves are packed in bags of 1 to 10 pieces. Packaging is available in both airtight flowpacks and common poly bags. The packaging films can be printed or perforated for quick air escape, and automatic transfer from the mask production pre-systems can be achieved.
